Wild For Life is a Wildlife rehabilitation Centre that rescues, rehabilitates and releases Injured and orphaned wildlife situated close to Johannesburg in the North West Province of South Africa. It is the only registered rehabilitation facility in the Province and was established in 2005.
Current projects include various rehabilitations of jackal, caracal, serval, leopard and other small mammals as well as various raptors.
At the same time, they create a greater awareness of conservation within the community by providing an educational program for schools, farm workers and the general public in the area. They have a network of people in different areas with whom they interact and who are specialists in certain species. Together they apply the conservation principles to protect our natural biodiversity.
